Populating contact list in WORD 2003 from OUTLOOK 2003, I can't do

Since upgrading to Office 2003 I have not been able to get WORD,
enevelopes and mailing address book to populate from my OUTLOOK address book?
I keep getting a error message about 'setting the default mail client. I use
MSN as my email not OUTLOOK. This letters and mailing worked in OUTLOOK 2000!

assuming outlook is set as default in IE's tools, options, programs - run
fixmapi.exe (use search to find it) and if that fails, make a new profile.

I appreciate the help/post. However, what is/are IE's tools. options,
programs-run? I use MSN as my default email not OUTLOOK! In OUTLOOK 2000 I
didn't have this problem! I don't know about profiles, either. Any specific
guidance would be very helpful.

you need to have outlook set as the default mail client to use outlook's
contacts books in a mail merge. It's been so long since I used office 2000,
but I thought it was the same back then.

Thanks again for the help. Is there any way in WORD 2003 to make it use the
OUTLOOK 2003 contacts file?
