every time i go to send mail or print a page a warning pops up saying i
cannot perform these tasks because of a server called pop3 something shows
up and says an error has been found through this server ? i dont even know
what this means or how to delete the pop3 thing out of window ????? please
help me. i am a new user for the first time in my life. i love my computer
and would like to learn more

The POP3 something has a error message. If you post the complete error message then
and maybe then
you can get an answer to help you correct this issue that you are experiencing

Did it ever work? How did you access email when it worked before?

I see you posted with a Yahoo email address. Is that your
only email address? US-based free Yahoo accounts have webmail
access only, no POP access. Windows Mail handles POP mail but not
webmail. Yahoo's solution is for you to pay Yahoo to get their
premium "Mail Plus" service:

and use the special settings for that service:
http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/mail/original/mailplus/pop/pop-14.html

If you are OK with using a non-Yahoo email address, you have three other
solutions:
* Use the email address assigned to you by your ISP.
* Get a free Gmail account.
* Get a free Hotmail/Live account, and use it with the Windows Live Mail email program.
