pop3 mails are not sent

Since 10 days mails are no longer sent. Nothing specifically was changed to
the configuration. For antivirus I use spybot. I scanned this forum and
tried some of the suggestions for similar issues but sofar without any
result. I have the issue on 2 machines both running vista.

The connection to the server fails

Same here Tony. Really bugging me now. Have tried so many variables but still
unable to send!!!
Subject 'test', Account: 'Bigpond Broadband Email', Server:
'mail.bigpond.com', Protocol: SMTP, Server Response: '250 SIZE 15728640',
Port: 25, Secure(SSL): Yes, Server Error: 250, Error Number: 0x800CCC7D
Outlook Express was never a problem!

SpyBot is not an anti virus application, if thats all you have you dont have
an anti virus application installed

Does Spansurf provide your home Internet service, and if so, were you
sending from home when that error occurred.
If not, who is the home ISP, and where are you sending from?
