I have to computers running xp pro. One is an hp
pavillion desktop, (2.0 ghz p3), and the other is a sony
vaio laptop. The laptop runs a celeron cpu 900mhz. Last
week the sony laptop began to get many many pop ups while
using ie 6. I use pop up stopper pro, and that handles
most of them, but the question is why does this computer
do this, while the hp desktop does not? I also have pop
up stopper pro on the desktop. I have it set to make an
audible tone when a pop is is encountered, and the
desktop has virtually none, while the laptop has many.
