Pop-Up Windows

Certain secure websites (banks, etc.) that require a new
window to open do not work and the new window does not
appear. I used the MS fix described in Knowledge Base
Article - 281679 but it did not work. Can anyone help
please
 
Go to Tools, Internet Options, Security tab, Click Custom
Level, scroll down to Java Permissions and select High
Safety. If you already have that setting then you might
have to run a repair on your IE.
 
Ray: Thank you for the response. I checked and I
already have the "High Safety" setting for Java
Permissions. How do you repair IE?

If you are using a pop-up stopper of Norton Internet Security, disable it.
