Pop-up Windows Hang

I have a PC running Windows XP Home and IE 6.0 SP 1.
IE runs fine, but whenever a website tries to open a pop-
up window, the pop-up window hangs. (it opens, but the
content never displays) The main window continues to work
fine.

I did have a pop-up blocker program installed, but have
since removed it. However the problem still is occuring.
Unfortunately, by web banking uses pop-up windows to
display data!!! Can anyone help me??!? Thanks in
advance!!

I am having a similar problem. When you open a website
with thumbnail pics and you try and enlarge the pics, you
get a blank screen [white] with "no name" across the pot
of the screen. Sometime on these 'hangs' you can hit
escape and then 'F5' [refresh] and the [link]page comes
up. Not a happy computer.
