Pop-ups everytime a new broswer window opens!

PLEASE HELP!

Every time a browser window opens, a pop-up (more like 'pop-under') window
opens too. I have pop-up blocker on High, but it continues. It also opens
pop-up windows when I am using MSN and click on a link in an email.

I have run AdAware, McAfee, CCleaner, and the IE online checker thing. I
have the latest version of IE with patches
(6.02.2900.2180.xpsp_sp2_gdr.050301-1519). But it still continues...

I have checked my hard drive for unknown/suspicious programs, and have none.

What next?

What IE online checker thing!
Make sure you have the latest updates for the AdAware and McAfee and the
latest windows patches also include the MSRT - Malicious Software Removal
Tool.

Seems pretty sure that you have something there openening the popups. A
quick test is to turn off all your toolbars and browser helpers with XP's
toolbar manager for IE. (Under the Tools menu in IE xp version)

Once you find which toolbar or add-in is the culprit use the Add/Remove
Programs console to un-install it from your computer (The AdAware or McAfee
programs should detect and remove anything that is suspicious anyway... but
make sure you have the latest patches for them.)
