pop up problems

`i recently went to the ms web site to check on updates
since then i have been plagued with pop ups all referencing microsoft
internet explorer
anyone else have this problem ??
i have a pop up blocker but does not stop theses
any suggestions

"Referencing Internet Explorer"..?
You mean they are in Internet Explorer windows?

Ran any antispyware applications lately?
Firewall on?
 
I just recently had this problem too, a hospital ad and an antispyware ad
and one other I can't think of right now. I have been putting them in the
norton firewall ad trashcan starting today. They are less frequent. All the
blocks are in place. Weird.
