Pop-Up Killer with Windows XP?

Hi,
In recent times I have had Pop-Up Killer installed. (Running Win ME). I
found this to be the best popup program. Now I am having trouble getting it
to run with XP. It is setup to load with windows and it usually has its icon
in the taskbar near the clock. I notice that when XP loads this icon appears
then disappears immediately. Can anyone tell me if they have had similar
problems or whether it works with theirs. I have had to re-install XP for
other reasons but each time I have installed pop-up killer the same thing
happens. Thanks for reading everyone.

Just in case you are not sure which one I mean its the program that has the
little yellow lightning bolt as its icon. Thanks again.

Popups, what are they?
I run with a decent firewall, AV, and msngr off

Yes I rarely get them either I was just curious about this problem. I get a
few on a certain site I go to get guitar tabs and chords which reminded me
about this prob.
