In an open window when I rt click on my mouse my pop-up box has had an
addition added to it that I would like to remove. Does anyone out there have
the skill and time to tell me how to do this. I would be very greatful. I am
not very computer literate but I do follow directions well.

Thnx.

And we are not mind readers.
What is the "addition" that you would like to remove?

What is the location of the "New Addition" in the right click menu? Is it on
the very top?

See this link.
Manage the context-menu entries for files, folders, drives and Namespace
objects
http://windowsxp.mvps.org/context_folders.htm

1. Click Start

2. Click Run

3. In the run box type in regedit and click ok

4. This will bring up your system registry

5. In the registry, navigate to
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\MenuExt

6. Right click on "MenuExt" and choose export , save it in the default
location

7. Search for the offending addition that you spoke of and delete the Folder
if it has one. Example:

...\MenuExt\
Offending Program Name\ < ---DELETE
Folder

If you don't see anything relating to the "Offending Addition" i advise not
to delete it, though it should not cause a problem besides removing it from
Right Click in internet explorer.

8. Close the registry editor and reboot your PC. Hopefully this will take
care of the problem

Let me know if you located it in this location.
