Pop Up Blocking

After installing MSN Messenger with the toolbar, the toolbar was set to
block popups. I thought that it was not a good idea to have 2 popup
blockers installed so I unchecked the MSN toolbar popup blocker.

The security center from SP2 was already setup to block popups. Which is
better, to turn off the security center popup blocker or MSN toolbar popup
blocker--or does the toolbar update the security center popup blocker
somehow. I noticed that the toolbar had a list of popups allowed where the
security center had no items listed to allow popups.

Use whichever one you prefer, or both.

I am using three popup stoppers. I have had PopUpCop for about 2 1/2 years
now. I also allow ZoneAlarm Professional to do blocking. Microsoft installed
theirs during the SP2 install. I have not had any conflicts.

I will say that even without the PopUp Stopper from Microsoft, I have NOT
had a popup for so long that I forget what they were like!

Disable the pop up stoppers and it will all come back to you in a nano
second.

Like Richard, I have three pop-up blockers working together: SP2, Google
Toolbar, and AdAware (AdWatch). I'm having no trouble and get no pop-ups.
I think SP2's blocker intercepts them first, as I've noticed my Google
counter hasn't moved since installing SP2.
