pop up blockers

I am having trouble with pop up blockers. I can hear that one is on but I do
not know how to turn it off. It is not allowing me to view profiles on a
website that I am in. What can I do ??

Is the pop-up blocker in Internet Explorer turned on? Have you got either
the Yahoo or Google Toolbars installed?

Hold down "CTRL" when visiting said web pages..

But that is just a guess - as we have no idea which popup blocker(s) you may
have installed.

Hi Denny,
I did have google toolbar but I got rid of it. I have turned off the Yahoo
pop up blocker...I have NO idea where this pop up blocker is at....what can I
do ?? I can hear it going...bloop when a pop up comes on.

Hi

Go to Control Panel>Sounds and Audio Devices>Sounds. See if any associated
sounds refer to a pop-up blocker in there, then uncheck it. See if you can
then find the pop-up blocker on your hard disk and disable it.

I have the same problem with unidentifiable pop up blockers keeping me from
downloading from a trusted secure site. I turned of the IE popup blecker,
and deleted all other toolbars which had blockers and it still doesn't work.
Any way to track this down?
