Help

Are you using a browser that doesn't support JavaScript?
If your browser does not support JavaScript, you can upgrade to a
newer browser, such as Microsoft® Internet Explorer 6 or Netscape 6.

Have you disabled JavaScript?
If you have disabled JavaScript, you must re-enable JavaScript to sign
in. To enable JavaScript:

Using Internet Explorer 6
1.. On the Tools menu, click Internet Options.
2.. Click the Security tab.
3.. Click Custom Level.
4.. Scroll to Scripting. Under Active scripting, click Enable.
5.. Click OK twice.

Using Netscape 6
1.. On the Edit menu, click Preferences.
2.. Click Advanced.
3.. Select the Enable JavaScript for Navigator check box.
4.. Click OK.

Using another browser
To sign in to Passport, you must use a browser that supports
JavaScript. For detailed instructions about how to enable JavaScript, see
Help in your browser.

Java and JavaScript are unrelated. Which do you have a problem with?

1. You might want to refresh your scripting engine:

or

Windows Script 5.6 for Windows 2000 and XP

Sometimes there's a corrupt file in the cache and one must go to Tools |
Internet Options and click Delete Files.

2a. Start>Run>Regsvr32 vbscript.dll

2b. Start>Run>Regsvr32 jscript.dll

(WinXP users who have problems with 2a and 2b, see
http://www.mvps.org/inetexplorer/answers_9.htm)

3. Re-register all DLLs listed in http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=281679

5a. IE Tools>Internet Options>Advanced>Browsing>Enable third-party browser
extensions (uncheck & reboot).

5b. Find the hijacker that caused 5a to be checked (or if none were checked,
check for hijackware anyway):
