pop server is changing to "local host"

Hi,, I'm having a very strange problem that is affecting outlook XP and 2003.
Everytime I restart my computer and open my outlook (either version), the pop
server is changed to "localhost", and the pop server name that is supposed to
be there is added on to the end of my user name (username/smtp.server.com). I
change it back to the way it was, but whenever I restart my computer it does
the same thing again. Can anyone help me?

Your antivirus software is doing this. Disable email integration with your
A/V program.
