poor quality images in internet explorer

I recenty bought a computer and have experienced problems
when using Internet Explorer. The images are extremely
grainy and appear to be compressed. I know that the
probem is Internet Explorer because I downloaded another
browser which worked fine. Does anyone know what my
problem may be?

Hi,

Try the following:

Open Internet Explorer.
Click on Tools, Internet Options.
Click on the Advanced Tab.
Scroll down the settings to the Multimedia header.
Uncheck the box named, "Enable Automatic Image Resizing".

I have tried disableing the auto-resizing feature, but it
has not helped either. Any other suggestions???

Aside from the resize feature, I'm not sure what could cause this. . .

If you save the image, does it save correctly?
