Poor image quality IE6

All the images on any website in IE6 appear very pixelated (blocky). I've
palyed around with all of the multimedia settings and nothing seems to help.
Mozilla 1.7.3 is my default browser, and everything is fine there. Does
anyone know what might be wrong?

Running on Dell Inspiron 600M with Pent. M 1.6, XP Pro SP2 on a Local Area

Apparently, IE6 does not support 120 DPI monitors. I had to change my monitor
Display Settings to 96 DPI on the Settings -> Advanced tab.
