Poor Image/Graphic/Icon quality on XP and IE

Guest

I use a dell laptop iwth XP home, when browsing the net the displayed images
are generally of poor quality i.e. the Windows XP logo shown top right of
this page. Also icons in my quick launch are very poor quality (rough around
the edges, not well defined).

However the toolbar at the top of my browser are fine (Back, Stop, Refresh,
Home and search etc).

I can also edit photos and the quality there is fine. My desktop is set at
1680 x 1050 32 but with an ATI Radeon X300 card.

Please help

Hi,

I've seen this when web accelerators are used for faster internet. The
pictures are diminished in quality to get them downloaded faster. Any
chance you're running an accelerator program in an effort to speed
things up?
