How do I set up encrypted email that I can access via outlook, and my
friends can receive/send using outlook, hotmail or outlook express?

I'd like this to be as automatic as possible because my friend(s) are not
very technical. I don't mind doing a one-time setup for them.

Or am I asking too much.

Encrypted or digitally signed? Have you looked at PGP and Thawte?

account will be deleted without reading.
