PMENT.SYS Service Failure

Hello All -

Maybe today is the day for Event ID 7000 errors. After
flattening my drive, re-installing W2K and updating to
SP4, Service Control Manager is complaining.

"The PMEMNT.SYS service failed to start due to the
following error:
The system cannot find the file specified."

Any guesses or hints?
 
Check previous items in this news group with "service"
in the Subject line. The most recent one refers to the
same problem as yours.
