UPHClean, error on install

FYI: Windows 2000 SP4 (does UPHClean work on W2K?)
Logged on with account the is a member of local administrators group.
...
I am getting the following error in the event log upon running uphclean
-install

Help?

Event Source: Service Control Manager
Event Category: None

Description:
The User Profile Hive Cleanup service failed to start due to the following
error:

The account is a member of the local administrators group, though not the
account "Administrator".

Thanks for offering that but it tells us nothing. You might try resetting
default NTFS permissions.

I figured it out. I had installed the service from a network location. It
defaults to run under the localsystem account which does not have access to
that location.

I moved uphclean to a local folder and all worked.

Yes, always install locally these types.
