Plug and Play modem not detected in Windows 2000

I have installed Windows 2000 and my plug and play modem is not detected.
I've found some info that I need to enable 32-bit PC card support but I can't
find out how to accompolish that.

The CDs and hard drive work fine.

Any help would be great.

What info? Why not just download and use the manufacturer's Windows 2000
driver?
