It is a database driven site using PhP and Mysql hosted at
jv-hosting.net on Linux server I think.

I heard that I have to install some free software First to do this ?

What I do with my FrontPage site is to have a new folder in My
Documents/My Webs. I call it backup. Every few days, I copy the
entire contents of the web folder into the backup folder. That backs
it up on the hard drive. The main reason I do that is in case I screw
something up while modifying the website, and I can just replace
everything with the backup and start over.

Both of these folders get backed up to an external hard drive that
backs up the entire drive when I do my normal computer backup. Then,
just to be safe, about once a month I copy the entire web folder to a
CD.

I simply go to the web folder (outside Frontpage) using Windows Explorer, go
to the folder, right click and select "Send to" and choose the "Compressed
Folders" option, then copy/paste that file to my external USB
Harddrive.....also make periodic backups to ZIP disk and CD.

You don't particularly need any special software - Windows has a backup
utility, but you don't even need that. Something like Winzip would be OK
for this purpose.

You can back up to your chosen media, whether it be CD, DVD, external
harddrive, USB thumbdrive or whatever.
