Ok here is the deal, I asked this question before but made a mistake

Im using Frontpage trying to upload a site I made through ftp but although
after uploading it says succesfull I try to go to the site through the web
and it gives me error440

now my partner says that its because

a) I didnt write them in html to public folder in the site (Not only I do
not know what this is but I probably erased it)

b)I have to put my images in the images folder (which I cant now because
when I do the links dont work)

I took the coarse but no luck
any chance somone can help or tell me what Im doing wrong, this is very
frustrating I feel like throwing my monitor from my balcony!!!

Does your host server have FP extensions enabled for your new site?
What version of FP are you using?
Did you create a Web /Site first in FP?
What is the URL for the site (even though you don't have it up yet)?

What exact steps have you taken to try to Publish or upload the site?

If the server has the FP extensions, then you should not be using FTP, you should after opening the
web / site in FP (File Menu | Open Site) use File Menu | Publish Site and then enter the URL as
http://www.paulsreviews.com, then your login info..

If your host has a Control Panel that will allow you to uninstall the FP
Server Extensions. Uninstall. Wait a few minutes and reinstall. Then PUBLISH
to your URL choosing the Publish all files option.

OK, since server has FP extensions you should be publishing through
Frontpages http: mode not FTP. You've probably corrupted the extensions,
hence adding to the problems you're having.

I don't think you have FP extensions installed really, talk to your host make sure they install (or reinstall) FP extensions for your web - especially if you've tried to upload via ftp.

In FP you need to create a Web NOT individual pages. FP will create other files/folders that are needed for your web.

Then you will Publish your WEB via: File | Publish Web/Site to http://www.paulsreviews.com

You're on a *nix box, so make sure you don't use spaces or other illegal characters in your file names...also stick to lowercase characters.
