hello im new to all this can any1 help me........i was using my pc the other
day and a runtime error came up and when i pressed it it shut down the
page.....it has being doing it ever since it says microsoft visual c + +
runtime libray i can still use the web pages if i ingore it and dont click it
but when i do it shuts my explore down.......hope any nice kind person out
there will help me IM DESPRATE lol thanx xx

Hi !

download the internet explorer from microsoft website
(http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...cb-5e5d-48f5-b02b-20b602228de6&displaylang=en)
and
while you are logged on as an administrator, click Start, and then
click Run.
In the Open box, type regedit, and then click OK.
locate the appropriate registry subkey, right-click the IsInstalled
(REG_DWORD) value, and then click Modify.
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Active Setup\Installed
Components\{89820200-ECBD-11cf-8B85-00AA005B4383}
Change the value data from 1 to 0, and then click OK.
Quit registy and restart ur pc
then install Internet Explorer 6 what you have downloaded

What is the full error message? Did you install any software prior to the
mesasage?

no i didnt install anythink was just flicking throgh pages, the message reads
microsoft visual c + + runtime libray runtime error program c:\program
files\internet explore\iexplore.exe then underneath it says abnormal program
termination
