My computer seems like it is saving or refreshing every
minute on the minute. The hourglass comes up for a split
second, every minute. I'm using my computer for audio
applications and this causes a problem. Please help.

Thanks
Paul

.Shut off indexing service in admin tools>services

As was suggested by "anonymous" in this thread, indexing can be source of
this behavior. To turn off indexing, open Windows Explorer, right click the
C drive, select properties, remove the check from indexing and click apply
and ok. You will need to do this separately for any other drives listed in
Explorer.
