Please Help

Hi
Im running Xp athlon 2200 but its only running at 1500 ... 1.35GHz
but every time i try and speed it up it wont speed up...
when my computer is turning on i go in the settings pressing DEL on start up
it HAS work and been running on 1.6Ghz before but i reinstalled xp on my
computer
and i cant get it up a bit faster right now its on the lowest and i know it
can go faster but wont save my setting..

I do click on save and exit settings but restarts Normal

Please Help me

Your CPU Frequency and voltage settings are not setr right in the BIOS.
What motherboard are you running? What BIOS and version numbers?
Give a little more detail and I will try to help with the settings.
