I know how to set up the alt S feature for e-mail, but my boss wants it for
his word docs and I've never done it before. Does anyone out there know how
to set up the auto signature feature alt S for a Word Document? This has
been driving me crazy and I know it's something simple that I'm just not
seeing.

Thank you in advance.

For Word documents, it is easy to simply use Autotext on the Insert menu.

Create the signature as you want it to appear, save it as a new Autotext
entry with a short name (eg "end"), then when the short name is entered and
F3 pressed, it shows up.

Save the signature block as an autotext entry. From Tools > Customize >
Keyboard, select Autotext in the Categories Column and pick the name you
have given the signature in the right column. Assign the shortcut Alt+S
Ensure that you save the normal template.
