Please Help

I was typing a document using Microsoft Works Word Processor when I was
almost complete 3 hours later, the document disappeared. Please help me.
It must be somewhere because any other time I can't close a document without
asking should it be saved. Where is it ?
 
Notwithstanding that this group is concerned with Word and not Works (which
has its own forum), if you didn't save the document there is nothing to
recover. If you worked on a document for three hours without saving it once
then this should serve as a valuable lesson on the foolishness of such a
course.
