Build your own> that way you will know what you have;)

And you can have what you want when you want inside it. No restrictions as long as you get the good M/B first

Thanks for your email. We can offer the following upgrades

939 64bit 3500 with ASRock 939A8XM motherboard, with your exisitng graphics card for £80

Labour charges would be £20.

The total is £100. Do you think this is OK

I do not know how to reply to you as I thought I had explained everything. I thank you for pointing out that you have not been happy with ASRock motherboards were they the same model A8X-M?

I am almost 70 years young and new to all of this. I have been typing in answer to you for ages and when I went to post it to you it disapeared, I guess I will have to type it all again. I can only use one finger.

I think this is the best you are going to get off them.

However, ask if you could possibly have an equivalent Asus motherboard to replace the ASRock. :thumb:

They are offering to changed it from a 754 m/b with Athlon 3200 64. To a 939 m/b with Athlon 64 3500 for an extra £100.00. I have paid them £390.00 so far. I am asking if this is a good deal?

for £100 extra i dont think it is a great deal it sounds like this retailer is quite expensive i dont think that having this processor upgrade will solve your problem though.

Chelsea, Mr Bishop is getting the CPU & MB changed ... we know it is "a bit steep"not much he can do about the price.

It is the best he can get ... providing they agree to an Asus MB ... it will be a lot better than what he got originally. :thumb:

ey eye sir:thumb::p all i can say is what has already been said is that you would want an auss motherboard instead of that asrock. Asrock motherboards tend to be cheap makes and sometimes dont last very well.

Hi mucks thank you for replying to chelsea for me.
The dealer has said either ASRock 939A8X-M wth 64bit 3500 with existing graphic card for £100 or ECS 939 m/b RS482 with Pci express 256 for £130.
He quoted £78 for Asus A8N5X.
What do you think I should go for?]
