PLEASE HELP

Whenever I put a cd in my disc drive nothing happens.
Then when I click on the DVD-RW drive it shows five files waiting to be
written to cd.
When I try to delete the files it says it won't because they are "read-only"
So now when I put a cd in the drive I can't access it!

Please help!
