Please Help!!!

My greeting card attachments won't open that I receive in
my e-mail. Also, I get an error when shutting down that
says memory can't be read. Please tell me how to fix
these problems.

The memory could not be read error at shutdown sounds like a virus or some
other idiotware.

Start by using Symantecs free online scan

What email client are you using?
What message do you get when you try to open an attachment ?
I must add at this point, that if you don't have antivirus software
installed which is capable of running checks in real time on downloaded
mail. You shouldn't be opening attachments from people you don't know!
