Please help with this error message!

After installing DSL, a blue screen error message appears at random times.
It reads: A problem has been detected and windows has been shut down to
prevent damage to your computer.

IRQL NOT LESS OR EQUAL

The ISP AND computer manufacture tech were no help. Please let me know what

This indicates a bad driver for failing hardware.

Carol -

MAP doesn't know what he is talking about. The IRQL_
message can be caused by many things and is difficult
to track down. One option is to do a Google search and
read everything you can find about it. Another might
be a fresh install of Windows, or perhaps a visit to
your local computer repair tech.

If it began happening right when you acquired DLS I'd suspect the DSL modem
drivers!
