Please help with secured files...

I have a HP comp running windows xp.. i got an error, and i did Computer Resote, or sumthing, which restores system files, but leaves the files i have downloaded... anyways, i had My Documents secure, so no one else could view them, and when i did restore, it deleted my user account, but my files were still there. When i try to access the files and folders, it says access denied even when i am on a Admin account, please help me get these files back, they are very important to me.. Thanks!
