please help with mdac

Can somebody please give me information on how to roll back a current version
of mdac to an earlier version. We have been having trouble with 2.8 and
would like to revert to the original version. Thanks for your help.

Microsoft Data Access Components (what did I win??)

Anyway, try the installer with the /u option.
 
I'm not sure whether or how it can be accessed via the web-based interface,
but if you can get newsgroup access via a newsreader such as Outlook
Express, you might try asking this question in the microsoft.public.data.ado
newsgroup. Some of the people who hang out in that newsgroup are very
knowledgeable about MDAC issues.
