Please help with gdi.dll

When i try to install games or some programs i get a error saying ' cannot
find gdi.dll '

Does anyone know where to get this missing file?

There is no Gdi.dll in Windows XP.
Is it an old game?If then you can use Compatibility mode to play the game.

Contact the game mftr.'s tech support. It sounds like it is looking for
a missing .dll that belongs to the game. If you have a burned copy of
the game, you may have a bad burn or the original may have been
copy-protected. If you have a retail copy, then your next step is to
contact the game's tech support.

Thanks 4 all the advice everyone, but cant get it to work, i get the same
error message with as few other older games, iv tried compatable mode and no
differnce

Point windows to the cdrom the game is on or the expanded file you are
using to install the game.
