Where can I find GDI.DLL?

I am trying to play "Power chess 98" on my computer and i've tried running it
but it says, "cannot find GDI.DLL"

Sounds like a old game that was designed to run under Windows 98. There is
no GDI.dll on Windows NT/2000/XP because the graphical display interface is
handled differently. You can try to use Compatibility Mode when you play
the game (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/301911/en-us), or you might have
to get a later version that support Windows XP.

according the the microsoft link there, it doesn't give any tips if it
doesn't work. It just assumes that the compatiblity thing will work and it
doesn't.

Then you need to get a newer version, if available, of the program that is
designed to work under an NT-based version of Windows. Power Chess was
published by Sierra but their web site doesn't list that product anymore.
