PLEASE HELP! Windows Activation PROBLEM!

I only have 2 days to activate windows xp... the problem
is that whenever I try to activate it, it says "Windows
is already activated. Click OK to exit"... what is up
with this? Apparently I've already activated windows, but
messages keep coming up saying that I need to activate
it. Is this something that needs to be fixed, or should I
just ignore it since it apparently is activated? If it
needs to be fixed, what should I do? Please explain
carefully, because I'm not very good with computers.

Start/run regsvr32 regwizc.dll
Then start/run regsvr32 licdll.dll
