Hi there! I'm new, and I don't know much. I have PC's with Windows XP. I need to take WAV files from a Fostex MR8 personal multitrack, and upload them as MP3's to an administrative program I have for my website. Is there a fairly simple way a layman (like myself) can do this?? Do they need to be converted (I'm thinking YES at this point. ANY and ALL assistance GREATLY appreciated!

are the files on the computer ? if there on the computer then you'll need to convert them using the program below, it can do batch conversion so will save you some time

Edit: i've been on the fostex site and had a look at the recorder, if you haven't got the files across then either remove the card and get a card reader for your PC or connect it via the USB cable and you should be able to copy the files

if your not sure how to do the USB transfer look at page 88 of the manual
