Please HELP! I use Internet Explorer. I surfed the web
for some time and then restarted windows.

Now when I maximize Internet Explorer it's status appears
to be maximized (I can't drag the window, and I can
minimize it) but it doesn't take the whole screen and I
can see my desktop.

What can I do?

PLESE HELP!

Regards,
Ron

Driver problem with your Video Card. Get the latest.
Change the resolution. It may help.

From: http://www.fjsmjs.com/IE/offpos.htm

Symptom: IE opens a maximized window shifted down and to the right.

Remove any 'Auto-hide' option for the taskbar and while the window is
maximized, resize the taskbar then return it to the desired size. This is to
try to make Windows re-calculate the window size and boundaries.

If no joy, run regedit and remove these registry key values:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main\window_placement

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet
Explorer\Desktop\OldWorkAreas\OldWorkAreaRects

Then reboot.
