Please Help. Problem with line spacing

When I type 2, 3, 4...lines of text the spacing looks fine in doc view. But,
when in print view each line is spaced evenly on the page to fill the page
and that's how it prints. For exanple.
I type 2 lines of text and when it prints one line is at the top of page and
the other at the bottom. It's like it's auto spacing however many lines
there are evenly spaced to fill page.

It only does this in print view.

Any Ideas?
Thanks
Dave

On the File menu, click Page Setup. Click the Layout tab. Make sure
that Vertical Alignment is set to "Top." If the problem is with all
blank documents, click the Default button; if it's just the current
document, then click OK.
