please help me!!!

hello, i am hoping that you could help me with my
computer. every time i am using it, usually when i am
logged onto the internet, it shuts itself down, saying it
has detected a problem. i checked out the problems the
computer is having, and it states that the 'COM+ event
system detected bad return code during internal
processing.'
i can not find out how to fix this through the help and
support services available.
i hope that you can help me to get this sorted, as i am
on the verge of throwing this laptop out of the window!!!

Here is a quick and dirty solution (I think).
Disable COM+. See the link for a description and rationale for doing this:
