This morning my computer loaded allright! I was going to do check my e-mail
and my computer didn't do anything, it just sat there and didn't load
anything. I restarted in two more times and it still did it. Is there a virus
in my computer or what? I need help and quick because I need some files on my
computer.

To learn if there is a virus in your computer: Scan the computer with your
antivirus software. (Be sure you have updated the program.)

Hmm, since he can't do anything at present he wouldn't be able to run
the virus scan!

Can you do anything at all? Are you saying that the computer did not
download your mail? Can you browse the Internet at all?

My guess is that this will be beyond him. It will probably be necessary
to take him through things step by step.

I can't do anything. I click something to load and it sits there and does
nothing!

start in safe mode run msconfig from run prompt and disable any unwanted
software in startup tab try rebooting.
if even this doesn't work open regedit and llok for run and runonce entries
and see if there is any malicious software link there, remove it. also when
ur system starts try looking for any process that is using very large amount
of memory in tsk manager. if even this doesn't work try booting ur pc in dos
mode edit ur boot.ini to include /sos switch at the end od ur os entry and
reboot . now see if any malicious dll gets loaded when system starts

I think that you are going to have to get a local expert to look at it.
Can you do anything with the keyboard? If you can it's a problem with
the move. Try hitting Ctrl+Esc or Alt-Tab for example.
