Please Help Me XP Hard Drive on New Mother Board

David,

I suspect that asking employees at the store where you bought your computer
may not be the best idea, particularly if you bought your computer from one
of the super-electronics stores. At this time of year, when stores are
gearing up for the Christmas shopping season, lots of extra sales help is
hired and for much of that extra help, the most difficult question they have
recently had to deal with is: "can I get fries with that?"

Also, you have posted your question in a newsgroup devoted to Microsoft
Access, the database development product, also perhaps not the absolute best
forum for your question. There are newsgroups devoted to Windows XP and I'd
suggest that you try posting to:

microsoft.public.windowsxp.hardware

YOu're on the wrong newsgroup, for starters. Microsoft Access(TM) is a
database program, part of the Microsoft Office Pro suite; this
newsgroup is for questions about that program, not for general tech
support! But I'll toss out some ideas...
Please Some 0ne Help me. I have XP one my hard drive and I am upgrading my
Mother Board. But because I had XP on another Mother board the New Mother
board wont work

It won't work, as in it won't let you activate? Contact Microsoft
directly. You can get an activation code for your WindowsXP if you
have changed your hardware and still have a legitimate license.

Try microsoft.public.windowsxp.setup_deployment for more
knowledgable advice.
