Gabri

Hello everybody.
I had a Canon Bjc6200, with installed no original cartridges (compatible).
Some days ago it turned off and then it not printed anymore. So I changed
all the cartridges: for the colors I used three new "original-photo"
cartridges, and for black I used a new "compatibile" one.
But it does not works! It flashes with light orange.
I'm sad becouse if I don't repair it before tomorrow evening, I will must
get it in the trash...please help me...
I'm sorry for my bad english,
Thanks everybody.

If you disconnect the printer from the PC, does the printer still turn off
automatically after you turn on the power?

The word compatible is meaningless.
Some days ago it turned off and then it not printed anymore.
You should have used Canon supplies
So I changed
all the cartridges: for the colors I used three new "original-photo"
cartridges, and for black I used a new "compatibile" one.
Mistake number 2
But it does not works!
Like I said you are using the wrong supplies
It flashes with light orange.
I'm sad becouse if I don't repair it before tomorrow evening, I will must

Buy a new Canon and use Canon ink. You will not have any more problems.
please help me...
I'm sorry for my bad english,
You English is understandable the trouble is poor decision making.

Your English is fine, perfectly understandable.
Please do yourself a favour, just ignore the poster with the weird name
starting with M (matches his intelligence), he quite simply lies and is only
interested in doing harm.
The day that ink (OEM or compatible) causes a printer to power off is the day
that the other poster will post something worth reading.

Gabri - This printer originally came out, I believe, in 2000. If you have
done a lot of printing you may be getting the "waste ink tank full" message.
Count the number of yellow light flashes in each sequence and look in your
documentation or call Canon tech support to see what the error message (the
flashing lights) means. As Tony said, it has nothing to do with aftermarket
inks. If it is the waste ink tank error message there are reset codes you
can use to get the printer to work again. Canon wants you to take it to a
repair facility where they will replace the waste ink tank (actually an
absorbent pad inside the bottom of the printer case) and do the reset code.
It will cost more than the printer is worth. From what I've read, you can
do the reset code without changing the pads at least once without any
problems. The waste ink that is dumped into the pads comes from cleaning
cycles that run automatically plus the ink that goes past the edges of the
paper when you print borderless pictures. The water in it tends to
evaporate over time, so you don't generally have liquid ink sloshing around
the bottom of the printer case. As the pads become saturated they don't
absorb ink any longer, but Canon is very conservative in putting out the
error code long before you will have a problem.

If you can count any orange flashes I have the manual and can let you know what
error the printer has.

Thanks Tony and But...
I try to reset with this code (find in google):

Waste Error Reset

1: Power off printer
2: Hold Resume button then press and hold POWER, the beeper will sound once.
3: Hold POWER and release RESUME
4: Press RESUME twice
5. Release Power button
6: When the indicator lights steady, press RESUME three(3) times. The
indicator should be orange.
7: Press Power to set data

but I have no time to do it, becouse printer turns off in 7-8 seconds, also
without connection from pc (before I can do the 6 point).
Thanks a lot, Gabriele

The fact that the printer does not retain its power is a serious concern.
That is not what I would expect with a full waste tank error and I suspect that
the problem is a failed power supply in the printer. If that is the case it is
most unlikely that it is worth repairing the printer. I am sorry to be the one
to give you bad news. A Canon repair agent may be able to quote you for a
repair but it will not be quick and may well cost as much as a replacement
printer.
Good luck

OK, 7 orange blinks indicates either a faulty print head or a main control
board problem.
Because the printer then turns off indicates a control board or power supply
problem.
See my other reply, I still believe this is a serious electronic failure that
may not be worth while fixing.

See he is in da business with a in da business mentality.  What you need it a new printer and they are very inexpensive.  You then can use only Canon ink and not have any problems.
