Please help-IE 6

All of a sudden I am unable to delete history in IE 6, by
going into Internet Options >> Clear History. Anyone know
why or what is wrong? Is there some sort of virus on my
system.

My C drive is hitting capacity so I constantly clean off
adware, spyware, temp files, history, etc. Please advise.
