Please Help!! HDD Detection Problem

Is the drive partitioned and formatted ?

Right Click My Computer, Left click Manage. This opens
the Microsoft Management Console. Expand the Disk Mgmt
look for your drive. Within the bar that represents the entire
space are the statistics on the drive and it's partitions. If it is
shown as Unallocated you need to Right click the bar and
create a new partition.

If it is shown in Device Manager, but not in MMC then
I would Uninstall the device in DevMgr and reboot. It
should re-enumerate again & both the Logical Disk Mgr
& Administrative service should re-mount it.

Now that your problem is solved, you may want to give a quick check on your
computers time settings. It appears that you either have the wrong time
zone set or your clock is set wrong. Simply double click on the time in the
system tray and you can set everything there.

Can anyone please advise me as to why one of my HDDs shows up in both the
BIOS and Device Manager and yet does NOT appear in Explorer??

Thanks - but the drive is not shown at all!! This is the strange part - it
IS shown in Device manager!!

Any further ideas would be greatly appreciated!!
