please help.. frame in page not loading

When I go to certain web site (such as ebay) parts of the page do not load
properly. It appears that this happens on ads etc.. Throughout the page i get
the message "The page cannot be displayed etc.." This happened once before
and to fix it I was advised to change the hosts file to hosts.old. That
worked then.. However this does not appear to be the problem now. Sometimes
if i delete the temporary internet files and the cookies the page will load
fine. However if I close it down a few times, eventually it will start
playing up again.

If emptying your cache helps, then your cache folders are corrupt; create
new ones:

Check the size of your cache; it shouldn't be more than, say, 50 meg.
