Please Help! FP thinks my website does not exist.

I've made changes to my website in FP and when I try to publish them, I'm
told to click on "Remote website properties" to "set up a remote website"
(which I already have). When I do, and enter my url and click "ok" I get an
error message saying that a website does not exist at that url and asks if I
want FP to create a website at that location. My website DOES exist at that
url, and when I type in my url in my browser it goes to it and it IS there.
Why am I getting this message and what do I do to correct the problem????

Thank you !

Are you entering the URL in the format http://www.yoursitename.com/
- can you open the site in FP from IE using File Edit w/ FP

I am using the full url, yes...but I don't understand what you are talking
about in your 2nd question. Please clarify what you mean.

Browse to your site home page in Internet Explorer
Use the IE menu - File Edit with FP

Ok - I did that and there is no "edit with FP" listed. I looked under the
File tab, the Edit tab & the Tools tab. There is an "Edit" but it isn't
available.

Ok
Contact your host and have them repair the FP Server Extensions
