PLEASE HELP!! Exported files - now OL "can't open information store"

I thought I was creating a backup file. Under File, I chose the
Import/Export wizard, and exported my Personal folders and Inbox as pst
files. Now Outlook won't open! "Unable to open default mail folders.
Information store can not be opened."

Can someone help me unscrew myself? Please??

I don't know if this will work, but find where you exported the files to,
right click on them (individually, not both at once), and select
import/export. Hopefully you will be able to export them back to Outlook.

Well, a reboot brought Outlook back up. Right-clicking on those files did
not show an Import/Export option. I think I will consider myself very
fortunate this time, and think very hard before I go "just do" something
next time!
