I just got a brand new Sony VAIO notebook with XP Home Edition on it. I
bought the XP Professional upgrade and installed it about two weeks later.
Ever since then, starting just when the update was finished installing,
whenever my computer is going to shut down, it freezes on "Windows is
Shutting Down." The loading indicator no longer blinks and the mouse freezes.
WHAT CAN I DO? I ordered a VAIO recovery disk to hopefully bring it back to
its previous state, but I'm not sure if the program is still there. If it's
not and I reinstall XP Pro, will the same thing keep happening? My computer
is also fully updated. PLEASE HELP!!

Thanks!
